Here, he shares tips on which makeup products to use and how to apply them to get the same festive, glitter eye makeup look that she wore on the movie poster and in "I'm a Good Girl". How to Get Christina Aguilera's Burlesque Glitter Eye Makeup Zelana Montminy: Christina Aguilera is known for her gold makeup choices, which is perfect inpiration for the holidays. We’re going to show you how to get the ultimate party look, just like she had in Burlesque with a focus on a glitter crease and strong ballerina eyeliner. We invited her personal makeup artist Kristofer Buckle to show us how to get the look you’ve seen in the movie poster that’s in musical number, I'm a Good Girl. Kristofer Buckle: Hi I'm Kristofer Buckle and I’ve been Christina Aguilera’s makeup artist for the past five years for magazines shoot, album covers and music videos. Today, I'm going to be showing you techniques and actual products that I used to create a look for the Burlesque poster. We’re going to take a strong theatrical look and we’re going to pair it down into a fun holiday look that’s very wearable. What you need to get this look is liquid liner, gray eye shadow, pink cream makeup, glitter, mascara, false lashes, lip liner, deep rose lipstick and you’ll need brushes. The first step to this ballerina inspired eye is liquid eye liner applied to the upper lid and wing out. I'm making the line thinner on the inside of the eye and getting wider as they go out. So we’ve done our upper liquid line and then I extended the eye out and now I'm going to connect this two lines. Now for the second step, we’re going to switch from liquid liner, which is what I actually use in the film to a powder eye shadow, just to soften a little bit. We’re working here with a gray eye shadow and I'm using a flat wedge brush and I'm just taking it right underneath the lash line and then extending it so that this space between the two lines, and then you just bring it to the same length that you made your wing. So I'm just keeping it tight against the lash line. This really opens up the eye a lot. The next step is we’re going to take the same gray eye shadow that we just line the lower lid with and we’re going to use it in the crease of the eye, kind of mirroring the line that we did on the upper lid. When you’re doing this on yourself, make sure that you’re looking directly yourself in the mirror because it’s going to help you create a more beautiful shape instead closing your eye, a kind of guessing. For Christina, I use this eye shadow full strength but you can use it as light as you like and you can use a softer brush if you wanted to go on lighter. Okay, so this is where we view off a bit from the classic ballerina eye. I'm going to take greasepaint. In this case it’s pink like I did on Christina and I'm going to apply to Amanda’s eyelid. I'm going o bring all it up to the crease that we created and you can correct any little mistakes that you might have made, I just varying it under the pink. Greasepaint is basically an oil-based cream makeup. The reason why were using it, it’s because we wanted to be sticky so that the glitter that we’ll going to be applying sticks really well. Now if you can’t find greasepaint or if it’s not readily available, you can always make your own color. Just take a really pale concealer and mix a dab of lipstick into it. A very famous woman told me once that it’s only pretty if it sparkles and I think she was right. So the next step what we’re going to do is we’re going take glitter. We’re going to press it right on top with the greasepaint that we just applied to the eyelid. Just starting from the inside corner and working way out. I'm just pressing the glitter against the greasepaint and you notice it sticks really well. If you feel little clumsy with the glitter on your finger, you can always use a brush and it gives you a little bit more of specific application. The step of a glitter is really the step that makes this looks special, great holiday look too. And I'm going to apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes. For the last, I created a lot of custom lashes but for this particular look to make a little bit more wearable, you can go to your local drugstore and pick up some lashes. I'm just going to take a little bit of glue and do a thin strip on the band of the false lashes and just apply, just close to the lash lines as we can. When you apply false lashes, the glue comes out white but it does dry clear. They also sell black glue, but I would avoid that because I can’t get very messy and really mess up your makeup at the very end. This look is really all about the eye but when it comes to the lip, there’s room for interpretation. You can stick with the deep rose color, which is what I would suggest. But if you want to go little lighter, that’s fine too. First, I'm lining the lips with a pencil to give a beautiful shape and then I fill it in with the coordinating lip color. To finish this Christina Burlesque look, we’re going to tap it off with just a little bit of pink blush. I'm just assessing the pink blush across the apples of Amanda’s cheeks. So this makeup from Moment Good Girl number from movie Burlesque because it’s really a great look when you want to have fun, step it out, step out and be noticed.
