Roxio's federal enhancement assistant makes it easy to edit multiple photos simultaneously to correct exposure and red eye, apply special effects, resize the photos, and convert them to a different format. In creator, click photo, and enhance multiple photos. Photo enhancement assistant opens, click add photos to load your photos. During this tutorial, I’ll adjust these photos, and resize them for my cell phone. Here are the adjustment that you can make to your photos. You can click auto fix, adjust the exposure, saturation, and sharpness of photos automatically. Or adjust them individually by clicking the respective buttons. You can also remove red eye from your photos with this control. You can rotate, flip, and resize your photos from this tab, apply special effects from this tab, and rename and convert your photos into a different format in this tab. You can apply these adjustments to selected photos with the all photos as a group. Either way, you can review any changes before applying them. For example, this photo obviously needs to be rotated, so I click to select it, click the transformations tab, and then rotate left 90 degrees. To review the photo, click review, its pretty obvious what’s been done here but you can click show changes to show the before and after views. To accept the adjustment click accept, to reject it, click reject. This looks fine so I’ll accept it and click OK to close the dialog. Now the photo enhancement assistant updates the display in the photo field to reflect the changes. Now, I’ll apply auto fix to apply all the photos. I’ll click select all photos, then click auto fix and photo enchantment assistant processes all photos. Click review to review the changes, then click the show changes check box to review the adjustment. If you don’t see much benefit as here, you can reject the change. On the other hand, here the adjustment improved the photo considerably, so I’ll accept it. At any point, you can click OK to either accept, or reject the adjustments to the remaining photos. Now I’ll resize the images for my cell phone which has a 480x320 screen. With all photos still selected, click the transformations tab and then resize. There is no preset for this resolution, so I’ll choose custom and to the custom size, and choose whether to fix the photos to that size and maintain proportions of fill the size and potentially crop some of the photo. I’ll choose the first, click OK and accept the results with that review. Now let’s save the photos. Click OK and here are your options. You can click save to over write your original photos, save as to save copies and discard to exit without saving. I’ll choose save as and the photos to a new location.
