How to Dress Stylishly for the Workplace: A FabTV Style Solution! Louise Roe: A lot of us feel we need to dress conservatively for work. But does that mean we can’t be stylish? No way! Jamie: I really love style and I like following trends. But as a teacher, I tend to wear more conservative outfits. How do I dress appropriately while maintaining my personal style? Louise Roe: So Jamie, this is a typical outfit you’d wear to school as a teacher. So I guess you have to be comfortable but also smart, well girl, I'm excited about this and I have two very distinct looks for you. Wow! So feminine! Even your posture has changed right? Do you feel confident? Jamie: Yeah, I totally do and it's really comfortable. The boyfriend cardigan which is super long but comfy and you can move around in it, simple white tank underneath. And then the piesta resistance, my favorite tribal skirt. It's so cute. It's A-lined. It's very feminine, flattering, just some cute tights and you’ve got a heel on but I bet you don’t even feel like it because the wedge is the comfiest. And then just a little bit of bling, the long necklace. I think you’re missing one thing, the bag of the season. I love the satchel over the shoulder. It matches your shoes but totally finishes off your outfit. How do you feel? Jamie: It's really comfortable. Louise Roe: Well, how do you think the students are going to feel? Jamie: Jealous. Louise Roe: Damn right, you look gorgeous. Can I get a swivel please? This is so super chic but business like as well. The key piece for this look is the oversized vest and that, you can actually find in vintage stores, in your boyfriends closet. And a simple white tank underneath. And then what’s great is I've recycled something from your wardrobe. Every girl has got a pair of khaki pants they haven’t worn for a few years. Roll up the cuff at the bottom so you can show these gorgeous what I like to call sharp shoes. But then not too high so you cans till run around in it. And then the back, it's kind of like an oversized clutch really but big enough for your books. You could easily go from day-to-night in this outfit. How do you feel? Jamie: I feel really comfortable. Louise Roe: It's been lovely working with you my love. Get back to that classroom and go get them. See you next time with another fashion dilemma on the Style Solution.
