If your baby is suffering from a high temperature, diarrhea or any other symptom, it is best to get it checked out by a doctor. Dr Ian Maconochie says that while it may not be serious it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Dr. Ian Maconochie: Lots of children come with quite simple ailments such as coughs, colds, respiratory track infections. Children those who come with other conditions such as diarrhea and vomiting particularly in the winter months. Julie Boote: Charlotte had high fever yesterday night and diarrhea and she is not as she usually behaves, so I don’t what’s wrong with her. Dr. Ian Maconochie: Of course, as a pediatrician, I would always tell people that if they concerned about their child, if they had a very high temperature that response poorly to process more preparation or if they have any anxieties for example, the rash that suddenly appears, particularly flat rashes non belong and as to say when you press it, it doesn’t go away then you should seek medical help.
