Hello everyone, this is Anthony Montalbano with InternetRiot.com, and today's site we have today is scribd.com. This site is really cool. What it really is, is kind of like a library of PDFs and PowerPoints and stuff like that. It's a great tool if you are looking to embed like a PDF, so that's viewable and readable on the website, or you got the PowerPoint presentation, so that you can actually embed on your site or make it downloadable for your users. But one of the things that I like about Scribd that I don't know, with maybe the user like this, I can't use it as a library, because there is so many different articles and documents that upload here, and you can favorite them. So there are certain things like, for instance, like recipes. I like to look on here, and see if I can search different documents that people upload on recipes, and then I favorite them. So like let's just take a look at this here. I am going to Log in. okay, so cool. Now, I have logged into my Scribd account, and you can see here -- I got to just do a search, for instance recipes, and it's literally found over 36,000 different documents about recipes. And see here for instance, All the Foods We Love, and Ten Perfect Recipes for Each. You can click on it, and we can view these different articles. Here those are here. So it's basically a cookbook as you can see here. So like, okay, cool, this is a cookbook that I like, and I could see here, Add to Favorites, and this will be saved to my favorite list. The other thing I like to do, is look over here as this Related Documents, because it is going to find maybe some other cookbooks that I may like. So you can see here. For instance, here are some Food Storage Recipes. Pulls up the document. These are uploaded by the users, so there's just thousands of documents down here. If you want to look at something else, like for instance, another thing I like to look up is web development. So I can do something like web development, search for that, and now here is a bunch of articles or documents you are going to find here. So for instance, let's try something here. ASP.NET Web Developers Guide. Holds up the document here, and we can see here, and go through the pages of this document. You can see also, you can click on this Embed Code, and embed on to your website. So definitely a cool tool, scribd.com. You can actually find articles about any topic you want. There is so many different documents that are uploaded here from as you can see from web development to cooking recipes. So after I have favorite a bunch of articles I really like, I can actually go into my documents here, in My Docs, where it says, Favorites, and basically what you have here now is that a library of books that your favorite in, and I could search on library. I guess it's a different way of using Scribd that most people probably uses to just upload their own documents, but I am not using as a library itself, and I can save a lot of things that I am always looking for, and I can now come back to here, for instance, like cooking recipes, you know, cook on Christmas, cook some cookies. Here are a bunch of recipes that I can find out here. And I have that on my fingertips. So that's all I got for you today. That's scribd.com. Go on here. See what you can find. Maybe you will find some really cool articles, some really cool documents, PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, and all kinds of stuff that people are uploading here, and maybe you want to upload some of your own, embed some on your site. Either way you can do with scribd.com. That's it, Anthony Montalbano here at InternetRiot.com, I'll see you again.
