Archiving Data and Copying Discs with Roxio Burn. Male Speaker: Roxio Burn is the easiest way to manage a number of CD and DVD related source including Backing up data to optical disk or copying an audio CD or non-copy protected DVD. Roxio burn installs with Roxio creator, after installation this icons appears when every even sort a CD or DVD into your drive to back up your data and set a point disk like this one drag and drop your files on to the disk. If you need more than one disk Roxio burn will let you know otherwise this screen region shows the amount of disk space required by files you just added. Click the name field to type in a name, when you are ready click the burn disk icon to burn the new files. You can track the recording progress be at this blue bar. After you burn the disk you can record another, you can also keep adding files to the recorded disk which appear in different shades of green on the DVD icon. Then as before click the burn disc icon to burn the added files to the disc. To copy an audio CD or non-copy protected DVD insert the disc into your drive this video icon tells you that it's a video DVD, click the menu icon to play, copy or explore the content. Eject the disc or view your encoding options to copy the disc click the copy disc icon. Roxio burn must store the disc contents to your hard drive, this blue bar attracts your progress when the copying is complete Roxio burn will prompt to you to insert another disc, insert the disc and Roxio burn will record the copy to DVD related data on to the new disc. When finished you can either make another copy or click done and close the window. Once you eject the disc Roxio burn disappears until you insert another disc into your optical drive.
