The centers for disease control and prevention recommend you use products that have been shown to working scientific trials and that have active ingredients registered with the EPA for use as insect repellent on skin and clothing. The CDC says products that contain Deet or pick—typically provide longer lasting protection than others or of lemon eucalyptus has also been joined to provide protection similar to repellants with low concentrations of Deet.
