Host: How do I avoid peer pressure without looking like a square? Gwendolyn Francavillo: First you need to look at that person and see are they really your true friend? So do you want them as a friend? Or are you being convinced to do this action to be in the in-crowd? If you are feeling that this is not a true friend then say no and not feeling bad about it, and going to where your true friends are is important. If this is a person you think is your true friend, maybe you wanna ask them some questions like why are you doing these behaviors? Are you being convinced to do this? Or maybe even getting someone else, an adult or another friend to try to help you get out of that situation.
