How to Apply for Work From College Kyle: Hi my name is Kyle and I'm from Ithaca, New York. I'm a full-time college student and anticipate on graduating next spring. My question is when should I start sending out my resumes? Tory Johnson: Right now Kyle. It is never too soon to start the job search process. One of the first things you want to do is meet with your career service office on campus. Find out all of the programs that benefits that they have available to you. It could be everything from resume writing and interview prep to help you to really map out a smart strategy for figuring out what you want to do and how to go do it. Now is also the time that you're going to hit up friends and family and the friends of those friends and family to find out who’s hiring, what's happening and what might be available to you. The goal is to really pound the pave minute this time so that you get a job offer even before you receive your diploma. Good luck.
