Juli Auclair: It's a dream come true for any kid. 350,000 square feet of every toy you can possibly imagine displayed in all their glory. The Toy Fair 2009 in New York City is only for big kids at heart looking to buy and sell some of the hottest toys of the year. Junior: My name is Junior. How's everybody? Kim Raymond: All you do, is pump your front hand back and forth and it will shoot 25 mini marshmallows, rapid fire. Who wants better than that? Juli Auclair: The marshmallow shooter is sure to provide hours of entertainment. Kim Raymond: It's ammo-licious. Kids love it. Moms love it because it's safe and it's edible ammo. Juli Auclair: Of the more than 100,000 toys on display, at least 7,000 are brand new, never been seen before. Claudine Castillo: You can make your own colorful balls and bounce them off the walls of your room. Juli Auclair: Claudine Castillo is excited to introduce her new toy, FoamFetti which will be in stores at the end of the summer. Claudine Castillo: Just very fun tactile air-drying sculpting mix and it comes in 10 very vibrant colors and the great thing about it is that you can sculp 3D objects. Juli Auclair: If musical instruments are more your kids' speed, the nose flute will be right up at his alley. Male Speaker: You blow the air at your nose, and if you change the opening in your mouth, that creates different notes. Juli Auclair: Trophy Music sells other cool instruments kids love like the Thunder Tube. Pretty cool, but their bestseller is definitely the Melody Harp. They sell 30,000 a year. Male Speaker: This is London Bridge. Juli Auclair: No matter what your child likes, there were something for the kid in all of us at this year's fair. Cars and bus, dresses and dolls, even an award-winning game that will have your children saying, please and thank you. Aimee Symington: It's called Blunders because it's about 4 kids; Bobby, Becky, Billy, and Brenda Blunder and they are the ones that have bad manners and there's a little storybook that's included, and so players on the game, they read the book, they learn about these characters and they feel empowered that they want to help these kids learn better manners. Juli Auclair: Okay. Blunders is definitely on my list of toys to buy this year. You know, new games are always fun, but sometimes it's the classics that are really a big hit and this year Hasbro is introducing updated versions of some of its most popular board games for family game night like Clue and Candy Land, and check this out, there's this new gizmo that comes in the Clue game that allows you to see the clue, very cool. And Candy Land, you can build your own board. How neat is that? But I can tell you right now that this small step version of Connect Four called Connect 4x4 is gonna be tops on my daughter's list for her birthday. I'm Juli Auclair. Thanks so much for watching Parents TV. We'll see you soon.
