Melanie Raposo: Hi every body I'm Melanie Raposo, and welcome to mommy's minute, it's important to teach your kids about street marks to keep them safe if they are going to be home alone. As your childs gets older you may want to give them the key of the house and let them spend a couple of hours home alone before adult gets home from work, it's a good idea if you are going to let your child be home alone, to make sure there is an emergency kit and emergency phone numbers in a convenient place, its also crucial to teach your children about the importance of dialing 911 incase of an emergency, lastly tell your children when home alone never to open the door to strangers and not at all any one that they are going to be home alone.
