Nathalie: Hi! It’s Nathalie. Brenda: And Brenda from Costume Crafts. Nathalie: And we have a really cool project for you today that was divine by one of our design team Susan Edwards. Brenda: She is one of our designers, she has a lot of design that she does for us and this one we decided to kind of run with it and make it a little freebie that we are going to have---- Nathalie: Well they guess they cut via three if they go to our website. Brenda: Yes, of course. Nathalie: And if you want to see the whole project to put together go there and there are a detail picture. We’re just kind to show you some of the harder parts today. But the freebie from us is this right here if you are emailing with which if you have a stand up on our website if you ever ordered from us you get any kind of emails from you will if have an email is. Then you are going to get this and this is a Christmas lists, this is a gift lists. And holiday to do lists, and Christmas card list. So you have all this little things, we are going t emailed you and then you just print this out. And then you can make the rest using your cricket and the season Edward’s cut files. Brenda: Right and you take right a little pockets that are we’re going to create today and then if they want to go to our website and sign up--- Nathalie: That if you’re not already on the email list? Brenda: Yes, they have to wait yeah, they have to like free in account. Nathalie: Exactly. Brenda: Right, so make sure you do that because---- Nathalie: We are going to have more. Brenda: More to come. Nathalie: This is our first freebie, we’re going to have two other ones that are really cool so be sure to wait for those you’ll be expecting them in your email in next few weeks. Brenda: Yup. So we’ve got everything cut out and we’re just going to start putting everything together. You just were going to need one cartridge for this project. Nathalie: And child dear, who just saw it again that you never know what you are going to get out of one cartridge, somebody will have never does that they could make some kind of holiday thing with using a child dear. Brenda: Yup, and then will also be using our new RCI double sided paper. This is the winter song collection so if you like how does end up working today go to our website and picks this up. So, let’s get ready with our first step. To begin, we are going cut out everything from Susan Edward’s design file from the design trail. And this was be base piece, we just use plain red card sack. And what’s really super cool about her design file is that she design that with a little score, marks in there so you know exactly where t use your score pal. Nathalie: Score pal. Brenda: So, I’m going to hang now and I’m going to start with that. Then the next things that were going to do are a little bit complicated or maybe a little bit hard to understand if you didn’t see the demo. Is that 16 little pocket pieces and you’re going to cut out four of them but what they look like when you cut them out is just like this. And you’re going to fold the edges like this so that they’re---- you’re going to fold them first and then you’re going to apply some adhesive. So I’m going up right to the right side, hold it coming Brenda. Nathalie: I’m getting it. Brenda: Okay just like that, then I’m going to fold up the pocket and I’m going to press my edges over so I’m creating that pocket. So, I have---- this is where my gifts wish that going to go in. or my shopping list or might to do. So I’ll go right in there just like that. But before I’m done with my pocket I need to attached the--- what she create this cute little part pieces that go right on the front of your pocket. So, I’m just going to put with my glue gun with pearl. Nathalie: I love these papers; some of them have some floppy on them. Brenda: So leave this one that’s the right there for blocking. Nathalie: Blocking in some glitter. Brenda: Foil, okay and then once I get this package on I’m going to put some adhesive on the back here and then you’ve got--- you are going to cut a total of four pockets. So, you are going to put one here, one here, one here and then this is going to fold over and you are going to put one and then---- Nathalie: And that’s your front cover correct? Brenda: No, no the front cover is that. So when you open it up you are going to have your first pocket. Nathalie: Okay. Brenda: So maybe, I don’t know maybe you put like a little mini calendar here so you can keep track a date there or something like that. So I’m going to hand that off to you---- Nathalie: This one, this cool water is really come in handy. Brenda: Yeah, it’s reading on Susan’s cool project here and some people were commencing that they were going to be going to a cookie exchange then there we are going to make like twelve of the years and give it to everybody I was trying to stop there that was a such a cool idea. Nathalie: Alright. Sort of other that’s nice since you’re done in your computer you can print this anytime as you like. Brenda: Right absolutely. Okay, there is the next one. Oh you know what if you want to put this one, yeah I think it goes in certainly here we go just like that. Nathalie: Super cute, you can see a little pattern. Brenda: And that will cut out. And this is from the original design these are little bit taller than the gift, the holiday planner here. But this is the general idea where are going to use sit down on here and the new one that we created will be shorter a bit but right in the gift the holiday planner no problem but this is the general idea here. Here we go and then you want to pull them too. And then we can put the calendar right there and then the last thing that we’ve got to do is just put our hot color and Susan defines really cute things to go and inside here but as you can see if you don’t want use decorative paper like in the school you could certainly do that as well. This is some really cute ideas, one panel have ornaments. Nathalie: All that she cut out on the cricket. Brenda: Yeah she cut them all in the cricket and then put them on to the pocket. But she had a couple of different version so you can really see have the different and paper changes to wait your project. Nathalie: You can even put like some cut out from magazine or sells add on here if you want. Brenda: Yeah. If you want to put that on and then I just have the little Susan design of this texture that says holiday planner and she welded all of the water together. So we’re just going to glue that in on the felt much plan to get that’s I’m going too to put cover there. And here we go, okay super cute. Nathalie: I love it. Brenda: So, our holiday planner is complete, we definitely need to give Susan Edward’s come craft pops, yes. Nathalie: Yes. Brenda: Super cute, I love the idea and very easy and it’s awesome because you are going to get the little list for free. So, make sure that you go sign up if you are already on our emailing list you just go to costumecrafts.com and fill out your information and get to log in. Nathalie: And we should also mention that not only do we have a Christmas version but we also have a Hanika version or Regular holiday version. Brenda: Wonderful. Nathalie: So, we’ve kind of Taylor made it to fit your needs. Brenda: So don’t forget, there will be others to come and will see you next time. Bye. Nathalie: Thanks for watching.
