Hayden Panettiere Saves the Whales Again! Female: From the start, what was your motivation, inspiration to be part of the Save the Whales? Hayden Panettiere: I’ve done it for about five years and they really are the barometer of our oceans dolphin and whales and as we say there’s the canary in the coal mine. And our oceans people don’t really realize unless they spend a significant amount of time in it. How much of an impact they have on us. Female: Locally, do we have the charity that were—that are doing to help them save more? Hayden Panettiere: Educating ourselves more, educating ourselves more and having a louder voice and it really is a matter of peer pressuring them in a certain way. There’s a lot facts that people don’t know and they’re unaware of. And unless it’s really thrust out there and into the spotlight they’re not going to know. Female: What major—? Gilles Marini: If you think about it, if 20 years down the line we’re not having that, no more magnifier like that in the ocean. What am I going to explain to kids that you know I wasn’t involved? And second of all it’s just atrocious the way they’re doing it looks like we’re not already human anymore. Diana: What was your inspiration? Jimmy Jean-Louis: First of all Hayden definitely you know she’s very brave in what she does and she’s doing it for the right reasons. And when you have that kind of status and you can actually help humanity and animals why not using it. Kevin Connolly: Hayden is an old friend of mine so it’s her thing so she kind of invited me outside the scheme to support her. Sean Paul: I saw a piece of a documentary that’s made me very sad. And these things are good—awareness if you don’t look at it from a point of view that these animals are an extinct like getting to extinct. You can look at it at a point of view even dolphins have like the most familiar brain to human being. Diana: Do you see a progress of everyone’s help, all the celebrities and everyone? Jansen Panettiere: Absolutely. Just in my—and especially in local areas and stuff like this everybody is now at least aware of what’s going on there and we’ve got no word out. It’s nothing, it’s a very diachronic problem that it will change over incredibly lo9ng period of time. And it’s nothing that we’re going to think—it’s not going to takeover, it’s not going to be like overnight but we’re working our hardest. And we think that—we hope that there will be a change. Hayden Panettiere: Right now, we’re asking everyone to go to Socialvibe.com and to click on the Whaleman foundation, Save the Whales Again and sign on to a petition that we have. We’re hoping to get a million signatures within the year. So that’s the big thing you can do and talk about it, educate yourself. Write letters to the government. without peer pressure of change and passing laws and without allowing the government to know that we really are serious about this it will never this. Hey, I’m Hayden— Sean Paul: And that is a scoop— Gilles Marini: From Hollyscoop.
