Here’s a hot party tip for you. Bobbing for apples is really kind of gross. But what are you supposed to do when it comes to having fun holiday party games. Well I’ll tell you what you’re supposed to do. You’re supposed to make up your own. Now the scarecrow race is what’s going to entertain the older crowd. What we’ve done here to make our scarecrow is we’ve got a broom, now this is going to kind of act as our head and we have attached a long doe as the arms. And all we’ve done to attached it to it’s parts is jut using dumb tape and kind of wrap it around in a cross section but we need to cover this broom part to give it a face and I’m going to use some burlap to do that and some twine. So burlap you can just find it at the fabric store. You just going to wrap it around his head and then you want to gather it a little back here and we’re going to use our twine, wrap it around at the base of the broom bristles. Tie it in a knot. Now, once you have your scarecrow built, you need to built some outfits for them, so just went out to the thread store and dig through your closet and find some funny hat, ties, Hawaiian shirts, whatever you can put your hands on and put them on two separate piles and then our scarecrow is ready for the game. Give them a set amount of time that begins with your stopwatch. Tell the kids to have fun with it and let them try to make the scariest, funniest or guppies looking scarecrow they can. You could even give them some markers and let them draw on a face. The parents can judge who has the winning scarecrow and they can get put front and center for all to see.
