Dr. Rene Hackey: Special education services are available from preschool through high school, so there are wide range of ages identified. Most often, children are identified in elementary and middle school but if you see a delay in the preschool aged child, those can be services that they are evaluated for free of charge through the county systems. And they are available throughout high school.
