Welcome back to the RSS with Google reader series. After you start subscribing to a lot of feeds, you may want to organize them to make reading them more efficient. Click on manage subscriptions at the bottom of the page. These are the feeds that I subscribe to. You can rename them to something that’s more suited to you. Unsubscribe by clicking on the trashcan icon and add them to a folder. Since I add tags to some of my feeds in the seventh episode in the series I can choose to associate a feed with the tag. You can also create a new folder, give the folder a name since this is a technology site, I’ll call this folder tech. Now, you can see that this feed is associated with the folder tech. You can do this for all of your subscriptions and make as many folders as you like. Now, when I go back to Google reader, I can see that there are folders that contain my subscriptions. You can keep them minimized or expand them. You can also rearrange them by clicking on them and dragging and dropping them into place. You can move feeds into a new folder by clicking on it and dragging it on top of the new folder. Remember, there are 10 episodes in this series, so don’t forget to check out the other episode in the RSS with Google reader series.
