Jay Manuel: Hey I’m Jay from Style Her Famous. Keep watching as I show you how to get Salma Hayek’s sexy, sultry look. So we got your foundation on and I’m just using a little bronzer first and then I’m going to use a little minimal powder on top but instead of just using the bronzer, traditional way which is down the cheekbone, around the hair line, just kind of kill the mask with the foundation. To add the smoldery eye. What we’re going to do that Salma does so well, actually I’m going to take the same bronzer and look how easy this is. Close your eyes. And I’m totally just smudging it over your lids. Remember, we’re taking about the day eye that Salma does which is that smudgy brown and it’s no totally, totally dark which she does at night. The bronzer will help build out the eye shadow. So instead of just putting it right on top of powder which would look harsh; this one look much more settle. Now this stage is going to look a little crazy because it looks funny to have bronzer all around the eye, it’s going to make you almost look like kind of weird, a little alieness but trust me when you build the shadow on top of it, it looks way better. I’m totally ignoring your crease. Jodi Fleisher: Okay. Jay Manuel: So what I’m doing is starting at your lash line and if you can feel, I’m just fading upwards, that’s what’s going to give you that kind of dark smoldery sultry eye. So the other important thing to remember is, look up, is don’t forget underneath your eye. Definitely smudge that same shadow beneath. I am going to put a little black liner on in the day time but I’m only going to do it once and every blink so that it kind of bleeds, that’s the effect that I want. I’m just going to do one, put a mascara first and we’re going to curl your lashes. Well you know what, think of it for night, once you’d layer with darker shadow and the scene kind of, you know smokey, sultry way, just like Salma does it, you don’t need such a thick lash or tons of mascara because the shadow behind is going to give a base. So as it goes tonight, you can usually just get darker with your shadow. So we were talking about the lips. Salma does those beautiful red lips but you know my concern about that, that it’s just again, a little too merrily so I’m kind of splitting the difference of take your chords almost as a cue. What we’re doing is we’re going to go to kind of a berry color so it’s between a neutral and a red. The other thing to do is smudge. The other thing I love that Salma does is, especially when she’s not wearing like a red red, she never puts the lipstick on super, super, super heavy so it’s always kind of stained or blotted on and I love that look. It looks more natural. And then to finish it off, if you want to, you could always use a little gloss. I’m going to use a little bit but I don’t want to make you, super, super, super shiny, just, I just want to give you that, a little more moisture. Remember, don’t overdo it especially when pairing with dark sultry eye with red hot lips and that’s all you need to get Salma Hayke’s seductive look.
