Eco Chic Earth Day Style Audra Lowe: Now from fab-fashions to sexy cars, there’s a slew of new green products out there that proves sustainability is smart and it’s also stylish. Lifestyle expert Robyn Moreno is here. She’s going to help us go green on Earth day. We’re all do this smart and sexy. Right, Robyn? Robyn Moreno: Oh exactly. Audra Lowe: That’s the only way to go. That’s the only way go. Good to have you back first of all. Robyn Moreno: Thank you. Audra Lowe: We’re going to talk about fashions because it’s vintage, recycled, good prices, everything. Robyn Moreno: Yeah and it’s amazing. Before you know fashion used to be sort of like flax you didn’t have—no it’s gone very cool. For instance this dress is from Loomstate which 100% recycled cotton and it’s really cool, right? Audra Lowe: It looks very comfortable, it’s cute on you. Robyn Moreno: Thank you very—so loomstate.org. Audra Lowe: Okay. Robyn Moreno: And H&M which is it’s a Swedish company. It’s come to stateside, really popular and they’re also really affordable. They have a whole garden collection this spring. Audra Lowe: Really? Robyn Moreno: So this amazing skirt is only $30.00. Audra Lowe: Okay. Robyn Moreno: So that’s a great deal. And then you know what? Vintage, I'm a big Vintage fan, Vintage clothing and accessories are always recycled and so littlewicket.com has some nice accessories. Audra Lowe: And a lot of people would be surprised at how inexpensive these products are too, so not a lot of money. Robyn Moreno: Like $15.00 isn’t that great. Yeah, that’s a great deal. Audra Lowe: Okay. So now we’re going to talk about another product that you call the birth bees of France. Is that right? Robyn Moreno: Yeah, this is called—so we’re now into eco-beauty. Because you know eco she goes everywhere. And so this is called Melvita and it’s a French brand but it’s really the birth bees of France. Their owners actually are actually are bees keeper. It just came stateside and so it’s amazing. It’s completely recycled, organic, yummy and affordable. Audra Lowe: Yeah, we’ve seen a lot of this product here. Robyn Moreno: I know. Audra Lowe: I like the title emergenC. Robyn Moreno: Because you know, it’s such a skin saver. It’s so luxurious, it’s like in a moisturizing and again it’s paraffin free. They don’t test on animals. And if you buy something from emergenC on Earth day, they will plant a tree in your name. Audra Lowe: That’s great. Now this is—and this is a cream that you put on your face. Ropby Moreno: And this is a face lotion which is really kind of like, it is really soft and makes you look nice and dewy and gorgeous. Audra Lowe: Okay, and then we’re going to give her the organic skin care line theme here. This one is called pre-party prep. When you go to a party you got to prep for it. Robyn Moreno: This is sort of an eco-product and as you can tell it smells amazing and has like rosemary so very invigorating. This is a scrub that you put on you too. Right before you go in a party — so say you’re tired you just got home from work and you have like you know 10 minutes to get in at the door, just do a bit you know a little scrub, you’re going to look fantastic. Audra Lowe: The worst thing in the world is have a scrub that smells horrible. You got to keep that stuff on for a little while. Robyn Moreno: Yeah. Audra Lowe: So it may as well smell good. Robyn Moreno: Absolutely. Audra Lowe: Now when it comes to hair care products, there’s a lot Emmet Cooper that of chemicals in most products out there. Robyn Moreno: You know most but there is line called there’s a line called Emmet Cooper that’s completely chemical free. And so they just use natural ingredients, it’s certified organic. Audra Lowe: Right. Robyn Moreno: But when we go into eco, eco also getting to entertaining. So JC Penny’s has a whole home line like these are bamboo mixing bowls they have throws. They even have baby bedding completely organic for $150.00 Audra Lowe: Wow. Robyn Moreno: Which is amazing and then also if you want to have a party, you know Eco people like to party. Audra Lowe: Well, ‘cause I know a lot of people are allergic to the sulfides and— Robyn Moreno: You know they sort of break out. That happens all the time and so there is these lines. I love this one called Chateau Musar which is from Lebanon. One from Aresti it’s called—it’s from Chile. Both under $20.00 completely organic and sulfide free and at the end if you want to drive a cool car, you know what? The Ford Fusion is sort of taken over the Prius as the hottest selling Hybrid I had driven in LA and like it never needs gas. It’s so girl friendly and it’s really easy on the budget. It’s like you know 2100. Audra Lowe: If you say it, I’m going for it too because I know you got good taste. Robyn Moreno: Exactly. Audra Lowe: All right, thank you so much Robyn.
