Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe This is a Dutch Baby Pancake. Let me show how I made it. So, to make a Dutch Baby, you're going to need vanilla, milk, little zest of orange, eggs, butter, salt, sugar, flour and some icing sugar to top it off. Let's start by mixing our dry ingredients. I’ve got the flour, the sugar—I just want to com out but that’s okay—and the salt and get my whisk, and there we go. Then, we stir. This is where you're going to add the zest of orange. It’s always of course like me, everything with me. Remember, you just want the orange part. Not too much, still a lot of orange for later. Give that a whisk. Now, we’re going to mix together our wet. I set my sugar—ice and sugar aside. Let's start with our milk. All right, so this is exciting because we’ve made our own vanilla. There’s a video for that. Check it out, Legourmet.tv. Put a little bit in and of course, there are eggs. So, give it all a little whisk. Before we mix the two ingredients together, we’re going to put our cast iron frying pan into the oven to heat. So, when your pan is hot, add your wet to your dry, look at that. Mix it together. All right, this will get our hot pan. Throw in our butter. Of course, it’s going to start melting. All right, so you’ve got your butter melted. Spread around. Throw in your mixture and pop it back in the oven for 20 minutes. Just to finish it off, we just sprinkle a little icing sugar, and it’s ready to go. I hope you like it. I particularly, love the edges.
