Hi! I am Thom Filicia from Dress My Nest. I am here to answer some of your emails and to dispel some design myths. Diana from Minneapolis, Minnesota writes I am pregnant and my husband and I decided that we want to be surprised when the child is born. So neither of us know the child's sex. What's a good way to decorate for new born regardless of gender? This one is a no-brainer; here is a great way to design a non-gender specific nursery. First, build the palate on a great green and yellow that sets the tone and the foundation of the room. Once the child is born and you know its sex, you can add the pink or the blue and all of the choice that go along with boy or girl that will really tell the rest of the story.
