Denise Richards Interview Better TV.com Audra Lowe: We’ve witnessed our next guest go through marriage, divorce and motherhood. All in her complicated life but now the former Bond girl is showing us what you get when you go form trophy wife to ex-wife in Blue Mountain State take a look. [Blue Mountain State] Denise Richard is here talking about her role and also a few other things that she’s got going on. Good to see you again Mrs. Richards. Denise Richards: Thank you. Audra: It’s fantastic when you’re here in the studio you always come with a big smile and I love that too. Denise: Oh than you Audra: You look like you’re having a lot of fun in this. I have seen so many clips. Denise: I love this. Audra: Yeah. Denise: This show was so much fun. I think it’s a great comedy. I think it’s so underrated because when I started watching it. It’s hilarious. You get to get away with a lot. I get to have fun with it and I loved it. Audra: Did you guys have fun behind the scenes because I was watching and I can’t put my finger on it but there’s just something different about it that’s all I could say? Denise: It’s different. Audra: It is different. Denise: I think these characters kind of say and do things that sometimes you may think that are a little inappropriate. That you can get away with. Audra: You’re right. Denise: But I love the cast, all the guys were great. Adam, Page and Darin and Lan and our everyone it was fun for me to play you know a different character and kind of do different things. Audra: How about have some fun? Page Kennedy was here a few days ago and he went on and on about how much fun it was to work with you and what a fantastic mother that you are. He loves you to death. Denise: I love him. Audra: It was great. Denise: Mutual. Audra: Do you bring your kids to the set when you’re? Denise: Actually we shot in Montreal and I flew back and forth and then we have a bunch of press here that promotes and staff so my girls came with the set to that so it was fun. They got to see the guys. Audra: And their 5 and 6 now right? Denise: 5 and 6 first grade and kindergarten so it goes fast. Audra: Yeah I was just going to say yeah it’s already going by really fast. Denise: It does. Audra: And then I read that you had a new Memoir coming out next year. Denise: A lot of people keep asking me how I got through that time and so I thought I would you know write a book and hopefully people will read it and sure my experience getting through difficult time and just being positive and hopefully something inspiration. Audra: It sounds like its therapeutic for you to do that too, isn’t it. Denise: And I think its important to you know pick yourself back up and just keep moving forward. Audra: And speaking of which I have to ask you know I have to do it. In the media, last week obviously a lot going on with Charlie, exciting past few days that you had there can you tell us how are things going now. Denise: You know what that is definitely something so personal and something I can’t even talk about. Audra: The media has bee all over it talking about all the things, can you tell us if what the media has put out there is true anywhere near the truth. Denise: No if he wants to address it I think its that’s his choice I don’t think its my place to say. Audra: Okay. But you’ve been very supportive of him. Denise: To protect the girls absolutely and you know it is what it is. Audra: Okay something good. Let’s talk about your hair. Denise: Well thank you. Audra: Your hair always looks fantastic once you come anywhere that you are your hair is fantastic and now you have a new hair line. Denise: I’m coming up with a new haircut and I’m tuning up with Cristoff who has a gazillion salons it was amazing and I wanted to do something where I could be personally involved and hands on and not just put my name on something and this was the right partnership and I’m so thrilled to finally be coming out with my own hair. Audra: I know that you actually went to the plants to go see them. Denise: I’m going to see the plant next month. Audra: Oh you’re going next month, okay. Denise: Yeah involving the packaging and actual products. I’ve tried every single product out there. I know what works, what doesn’t work, hopefully combining a lot of different things and coming up with amusing stuff. Audra: So are women going to have lively fluffy hair. Denise: I hope so you know this is all my hair I don’t wear extensions. Audra: Alright. So it’s doing well. Denise: I know a lot about hair. Audra: Yeah well congratulations it’s so good to see you again. Denise: Thank you. Audra: You see this dress if you really have time— Denise: How old is your baby? Audra: She’s 5 months old now going. Denise: Look at you. Audra: But you got a tight dress and I have one that has little gifts so that’s’ why. Thank you so much.
