Christina Aguilera Talks about her Bionic Album Rhiannon Ally: The wait is over, Christina Aguilera is finally set to release her first studio album since 2006 and of course since becoming a mom. She recently rescheduled her tour to start next year. But as we found out, it’s not because she’s slowing down. Christina Aguilera is going bionic with the brand new studio album. Christina Aguilera: Bionic is a well rounded record of fun, fun and more fun. You do have your ballads and you do have the hearts, what I call the heart of the record, the stuff that I wrote with singer/songwriter Sia. The record is a nonstop party so it’s really fun. I don’t think I’ve made such a fun record, pop record since my first. But it’s with a lot more sophistication now. Obviously I’ve grown, I’ve come full circle. While I was in the middle of my Back to Basics tour, I really made a decision. I was like you know what? I need to make it fun. I want to have fun again, you know, as far as not being tied down to one specific vision and idea. And I really just want to go forward throughout the future. When you have a child you think the next generation, fun, future what that holds for your child and I became very into electronic music. Rhiannon Ally: Motherhood isn’t the only thing keeping Aguilera busy these days. The 29-year-old is making her acting debut in the movie “Burlesque’ starring Cher. Christina Aguilera: I’ve always been fascinated with the world and anytime the woman gets to be unabashed and unashamed of her sexuality and be free and expressive with it. I’m all about it. Rhiannon Ally: Listen as Christina Aguilera reveals her bionic side. And Christina recently showed her stuff on the idol finale. The album is out next week.
