Better Celebrities on Mother's Day Audra Lowe: Everybody has got a mother and celebrities are no different than you and me when it comes to giving props to mama on Mother’s Day. Take a look. Shondrella Avery: Happy Mother’s Day to everyone, I'm Shondrella Avery and you know as I can recall my mother she gave me tons of great advice. But the one thing she always says is stay true to yourself, own who you are, make sure your integrity is intact because you have to live by that for the rest of your life so I offer that you. Nicole Sullivan: Some advice my mother gave me which I think is a good advice is don’t shave your upper legs, don’t shave your thighs because it will just irritate when the stubble grows in. Maybe she didn’t want to give me that advice when I like 8 which maybe is a little early but she gave it to me. Angie Everhart: The best advice that I have ever gotten from a female is actually from my grandmother and she told me to always be a lady. Caressa Cameron: Well the best advice that my mother ever gave me was to be true to yourself, be comfortable in your own skin and never turn out a plate of food or meat. Elisabeth Hasselbeck: I've stopped doing the retrospective, wow she was so right about that. I tried really listening to her more in the moment now and she’s given me so much advice over the years but I think the most recent bit of advice is trust your instincts as a mom with every thing from spoiling the kids to discipline. She’ll tell me you're a good mom and I think hearing that from my mom is the best thing that she said and sort of lets me be who I am with my kids. Seth Wescott: When I came to the point in time where I decided that I was going to stop doing college to pursue my dream, my dad was a little not understanding of that but my mom was the one who was really wholeheartedly behind me and said, “Look if this is a dream and this is a passion that you have in life it’s really important that you follow that.” And so I think having your parents truly believe in what you're doing and support the decision that you make in life that are hard decisions goes a long way. And I mean for me to be able to share moments like I have a deal on pics with both of them when they’d been there, I think I was justified in stopping school. But I mean those had been incredible heartfelt and emotional moments. Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett: One of the best pieces of advice that mom gave growing up was never judge a book by its cover. Camila Alves: So I’ll say one of my mother’s advice of the many the one very simple that she always tell me is that every time when you get up you make your bed because you’ll never know who’s going to walk into that room. That’s a quick one but I always do it every time. Edwin McCain: The best advice, well I think best thing she ever gave me first of all was a home. I'm adopted and so I think she really explained adoption to me when I was very little and I always felt chosen. It’s a really wonderful thing to be adopted and that was a part of the reason why I adopted my first son. So I think that was the best thing that she ever explained for me for sure. Rachel Haris: I think the best advice that I ever got from my mom was that she said to me you can be whatever you want to be you just need to apply yourself and I believed her. So when I said I wanted to be an actress she was completely supportive and really unwavering and I was very lucky because I have no other skill set. And the other thing is to always wear lipstick and pull in my stomach. Jane Pauley: Actually my mother wasn’t a big advice giver so I don’t know where I came from because I'm a big advice giver. Someone asked me once what advice I would give to a mother of a teenage girl and without thinking I said give less advice that’s good advice. Audra Lowe: So eloquently stated loving—
