Behind the Scenes - Jay Sean's 'Do You Remember' Music Video Bridget Daly: Bridget here, I’m behind the scenes of the music video for Do You Remember the super hot featured Lil Jon, Sean Paul and of course Jay Sean. He’s like the hottest person in music right now. Check it out. Jay Sean: The set is something interesting because it’s New York and L.A. Yes, it’s New York and L.A and--- Bridget Daly: You’re not from either these places? Jay Sean: No, he’s—I’m from London, Sean Paul Jamaica where’s Lil Jon, Atlanta. Bridget Daly: Tell me what this song means to you? Jay Sean: What the song means to me? See, I’m a positive person I mean and I really like to make people happy. And for me I want to an anthem that when it drops in the club it don’t matter what’s going on your life you just like, you act stupid, you get together with your boys or with your girls whatever it is, is you remember the good times and there’s always a reason to be happy that’s the song is about. Bridget Daly: How do you guys all come together? I heard it from these few guys, I want to hear your story. Jay Sean: That’s crazy. For Jon it’s one of his family so that was just a straight phone call and that means slim, he was like, I’m going to put Jon on this round so that slim for cash money that’s how that happened and I’m going to show it in the VMAs and I’m just a straight talker but I listen. When she said to me we should do sign, I will take you up on that so you don’t get say that because I will take you up on it. So I did I had the song two days later you note him done that same day but to me here we are at the video shoot. The album All or Nothing drops in stores all across America on November 23 and that’s coming real soon. And I coincidentally there’s like Thanksgiving in that same weekend it’s amazing. So if you feel like buying a gift, ideal gift there right there you know what I mean. Sean Paul: This song is about remembering good times, do you know what I mean and it’s a hot song, crazy, right on this song superstar so I’m glad to be here got to be on set. Bridget Daly: So remembering good things, so tell me a couple of good that kind of influence this song. Sean Paul: Well, I do talk about it to my son when I was just like wilding out every night and I feel alright I mean intentionally we’re doing the thing. This is good about party it’s about remembering good times with friends so a lot of that has been partying for me. Bridget Daly: What do you think is the best city to party? Is it New York? Bridget Daly: Between New York, L.A, yes L.A. has been good for me too I mean also Chicago I mean also Kingston I mean also London. I just started on Twitter last week about two weeks ago. Bridget Daly: Are you addicted yet? Bridget Daly: I am and it’s sad for I was one of those, yes I hate Twitter but it’s a good way to communicate with people and I’m doing it now so go twit me out duttypaul @duttypaul check me out. Bridget Daly: Do you guys have such different styles, such different balance, how did you collaborate? Lil Jon: Technology. Kay did his parts, I did my parts, Sean did his parts we— Sean Paul: We just hooked up together. The first time the three of us put this song go and be—end up with the same place. Bridget Daly: Directing this video must be so much fun. Gil Green: Oh yes, it’s exciting because you have so much talent in one set. You have Jay Sean who’s like the biggest pop sensation right now. You have Sean Paul who’s been running dance hosting if ever. You have Lil Jon who set off the whole cut movements. So you’ve got like three different genres of music and they're just all collaborating. Bridget Daly: How do you come upon the cool New York party scene? Gil Green: Well, you know Jay is just a cool guy so what we wanted to do is put him in environment that not real and organic so people could just feel his flavor, his personality. So of course he’s got a girl like a lead lady. A little bit of memory like going that memory lane with her good times just being out at a cool party, cool vibes something that people could relate to it. Sean Paul: This is Sean Paul on the set of Jay Sean big video it’s called Do You Remember also we have here big superstar Lil Jon and we’re doing our thing, Hollyscoop. Keeping it locked.
