Beauty Expert Tips Audra Lowe: Almost a month into the New Year and that means some of our New Year’s resolutions might have fall through the cracks already. But before you give up completely, we’ve got Stacy Cox here. She’s a beauty and lifestyle expert and she’s got some inspiring tips to help all of us stay back on the soundtrack and get back on track in 2010, right? Stacy Cox: Exactly. I don’t want everyone to let apathy wear its heavily head before they’ve really gotten to fight the good fight. Audra Lowe: It’s just a matter of a few days, right? Stacy Cox: Yeah. Audra Lowe: Okay, so the first thing we’re going to do—you’re going to tell us about to taking our vitamins every single day but there’s new innovative ways to get the vitamins in your system instead of just popping the pill, right? Stacy Cox: Right. You don’t have to do it tropically or pop the pill especially as we know people go to bed and sleep with their make-up on. Audra Lowe: Yeah. Stacy Cox: So, what you can do, from Noah’s Naturals, this is a product called their Anti Aging Beauty Beverage and what you do is you take this little packet, you pour it into 16 oz. of water and you drink it and what it’s 30 calories and it’s sugar-free and it’s very flavor. And you get two week supply for about $19.00 in a four week supply for about $30.00. Audra Lowe: Okay. Stacy Cox: And it’s loaded with your vitamins A, B and C, all the required amounts, then it’s loaded with goji berry, acai, blueberry and pomegranate which are your antioxidants. Audra Lowe: They’re all naturally good. Yeah. Stacy Cox: Correct. And then it’s got a new ingredient in it called Collactive which takes marine, collagen, and elastic peptides to help lift and firm and hydrate your skin. Audra Lowe: The big question Stacy, how does it taste? Stacy Cox: It’s very potent. If you like berry flavored fruit morning drink, it’s great. Audra Lowe: It’s good, okay. Now, a lot of people go to sleep with—women go to sleep with their makeup on. You forget, it’s horrible, right? Stacy Cox: It’s the bane of my beauty expert existence but I found something right now that’s launching. It’s just in if from when this air is a few days, it will launch. It’s from DDF. It’s called the Restoring Night Serum. It’s going to retail for about $95.00 and you can get it at DDFskincare.com. And what’s so fabulous is it reduces wrinkles by 30% over like a two to four week period. And all you’ve got to do is just drop a little bit on your face, neck and throat and eyes and what it’s going to do, it has patented technology that allows natural cross linking of elastin. And when you can pump up your elastin, you start to strengthen the skin’s appearance. Audra Lowe: Absolutely. You know this one here is like a private lesson for you, you know? Make-up lesson. Stacy Cox: Oh, this is some cool stuff. It’s from Stila and it’s their Stila Beauty 4.0. It is $250.00 worth of makeup and a Train Case that retails for $69.00 and you can plug your iPod or your MP3 player in and you can get lessons off of that on how to apply the makeup and looking feel your best if you’re trying to maintain that resolution to unleash the makeup artist in you. Audra Lowe: A lot of people are too so— Stacy Cox: Yeah. Audra Lowe: This one here, it’s not expensive at all? Stacy Cox: It’s $30.00 and this is called the Bronze Goddess Box. It’s from NYX Cosmetics. Audra Lowe: Okay. Stacy Cox: And when I was working Golden Globe’s weekend, I saw a lot of makeup artists. It’s like a prestige underground brand that a lot of makeup artist in Hollywood are using to give actresses like Lea Michele, January Jones, to let that sun kiss, kind of honey hued, they were using this on Olivia Wilde I saw. They we’re bronzing her up a little bit but it’s all those colors for $30.00. Audra Lowe: We just have a little bit of time left. Stacy Cox: Okay. Audra Lowe: But I really want to get to this over here on the end. Stacy Cox: Okay. Audra Lowe: Because it’s a great way to give back, right? Stacy Cox: Oh, it is. This is from TOMS Shoes in Blake Mycoskie who is the founder of TOMS Shoes for $44.00, you can buy a pair of these comfortable, all-natural slip on. And he donates a three pair of shoes to a child in need somewhere around the world and thus far, they’ve donated 9 million shoes. Audra Lowe: Really? Stacy Cox: Should kids in need. Audra Lowe: That a great way to make a New Year’s Resolution. All right, thank you so much Stacy, we appreciate it.
