Barbecue Pasta Salad Female: So Pat and I are going to use a ficelli pasta called the barbeque pasta salad. Pat: Got Miss Piggy, it is going to add salt. Female: Going to pour that pasta right in, look at that little spiral, isn’t that cute? Our pasta is a boil and we are done. We try to be creative and offer something that will catch your eye like barbeque pasta salad. This is just like a meal and that is so perfect for the salad. We are going to start with two scallions, two rips of celery and one red bell pepper. The good thing about this style is we are going to add some pork to it. We are also going to make a gray salad dressing to go with it. And who ever heard of a barbeque pasta salad, I am telling you this is one that is going to go down to history as a great salad. Pat: So we got all of our vegetables. Female: So I am going on ahead and get started with those main ingredients. We are going to put in two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, give a little tang here. One teaspoon of hot sauce, we like everything little look kick around here. We are going to put in a half teaspoon of chili powder that is a nice way we are building here. And we are going to put in our and add of a teaspoon of garlic powder but I don’t want to overwhelm that. And just a pinch of cayenne pepper, now you know if we are going to make our barbeque pasta salad we have to have barbeque sauce. We are using at least so as only a half a cup; we are going to put in one cup of mayo. So we are going to kind of stir that together. Pat: Alright honey, I am done cutting up these veggies, so I am going to get your pork because we got to have some pork. Female: So I get some, I put the rest of the veggies then, because he is going to get the pork. Pat: Honey while I am over here, I am going to grab the pasta. Then you what sweetie, I really let these noodles kind of drain all the way because I don’t want to water that great just and you just made. Female: You can use any kind of cute shape noodle because it is all about the presentation. Pat: Because that is what you got and you have plenty of presentations, beautiful presentation. Female: So then we are going to pour in my mixture and we just kind of toss it around off together. They are all kind of ways to work this barbeque pasta salad, but of course in our house we are using pig. A pig is staple food with us. Pat: You know I got about eight ounces of pork. Female: We add the pork, King and Queen; we can put pork at anything and turn it upside down where you won’t even know you are eating pork. Pork is number one. Pat: So we got a little salt and we will add pepper – perfect. Female: So now we just want to cover it, we are going to put it in our refrigerator. Put it to the side and keep this meal on moving.
