We knew Suckers offered some pretty strange vibes through the inventive psychedelic pop skirmishes they serve up on stage. We didn't expect those vibes to translate to the street when we chatted with the band outside of a sold out show at the Bowery Ballroom. While discussing their debut album Wild Smile, some pretty interesting things started to happen.

An Interview with Suckers Band Male: I like the high that I get on playing live. I’ll give you that without the live performance. Male: I like the adrenalin rush and just feeding off the crowd energy. Male: And sometimes we start with drum solos. Male: And then by the end of the show we squash them down to a pancake. Male: I mean the more casual recording is like three days. Male: We pick up a phase on a lot of this stuff. Male: A lot more less hazy sounding a lot more like pop.
