Description
This interview with Los Angeles noise outfit HEALTH turned surprisingly sexy, surprisingly fast! Pumping no shortage of sexual undertones into the conversation (some deliberately, others not so much), the band discussed scoring Hipster soft-core pornos, the band's saucy fashion sense, the bands they get off on, or even the band's label, Lovepump United Records.

An Interview with HEALTH Band in Los Angeles Male1: Our movie debut when we meant to do this movie we just called the C4 and we went to the other movie the -- we gave in the CD to get a show and he escorted to his home mate game horn Male2: It was like, like hipster sophomore game horn so it’s totally lame. Male1: That wasn’t what we wanted to see which is like the action. I guess we can play in whatever intensity that I could just like you go to a whatever rock store or any rock band and we always like to go in black shirts and sort of thing like black shirts equals you know bolder kind of awesome. It used to give me more like we want a rock but you know just not having the black shirt. So I just kind of steps out with bright color theme, I think. Rock, all rock and roll from like the good times to the 90 something and then hopped again’02 on. A lot of New York bands. We really love X-models and Animal Collective and Black Dice and we love the old chick. Male2: Self titled record on Love Funky Night Records based here in New York and 11 Tracks. Male1: We have 11, yeah. Male2: 11 tracks 29 minutes. Male1: Self recorded, self manage. Male2: Now we’ve recorded at the He Smell and we titled it. Male1: All caps, our name is always in all caps. Male2: It's kind of a hard name because it's located by two soft consonant sounds so if tell someone on a live show, it’s something—they always go “ELF”. Male1: It’s hard to name band nowadays. Male3: Yeah, we pretty much aim to be at Los Angeles. Male1: Go to a show. Male3: Yeah.
