Rhiannon Ally: If you love a good movie and I mean who doesn’t? The upcoming summer flicks are guaranteed to entertain. Josh Horowitz the managing movie editor from MTV news is here to reveal some of the most anticipated movies coming out this summer. Welcome! Josh Horowitz: Thank you for having me. Rhiannon Ally: Okay, is this summer going to be big or is it going to live up to the height? Josh Horowitz: Every summer is big. I mean this summer has something for everybody. It’s got the big blockbusters. It’s got the romances, the romantic comedies. Yeah, you will be okay. Don’t worry. Rhiannon Ally: It’s got something for everyone. That’s what we like to hear. Now, the first movie in section, I am so excited to see this. I just saw a trailer for it. Josh Horowitz: This one is kind of insane. So, this is from director Chris Nolan. So, his last movie was the Dark Knight. It’s kind of a pretty cool movie, right? So, this is his follow-up, stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. You know he was great in 500 Days of Summer, right? So, this is like a big sci-fi thriller. It’s kind of like matrix. It’s like heist movie but literally, they’re going inside the human mind. So, like the visuals are going to be insane. It’s going to be a hard movie to describe to your friends but I think it’s going to be one that’s worth the trip, definitely. Rhiannon Ally: Oh, I just love Leonardo DiCarpio. Okay, so the next one, the Other Guys, this ones sounds a little bit like Cop Out to me. That movie that was out months back, is it? Josh Horowitz: Hopefully a little better because I saw Cop Out. No. But Other Guys is Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg mismatched cops in New York. So, it kind of turns the cop genre on its head but I was on the set for this one. This was really funny. Will Ferrell is back with his director of Talladega Nights and Anchorman, Step Brothers, so it’s going to be wild. It’s going to be insane. It’s got join The Rock Johnson, Sam Jackson, Michael Keaton. It’s great ensemble. It looks really fun. Rhiannon Ally: Okay, give us some secrets from the set. You can't just say that and then not tell us anything. Josh Horowitz: Well, I can tell you that like Sam Jackson and The Rock are kind of like the super cops in New York but sometimes, you have to leave it to the other guys to the job done and that’s where Will will come in but it looks funny. Rhiannon Ally: That’s not a big surprise. Okay, so the next one, I’m embarrassed to admit this, I’m kind of excited for it, the Twilight Eclipse, Twilight Saga Eclipse. Josh Horowitz: Don’t be embarrassed. It’s okay. Everybody is excited. So, this is the first of the Twilight movie that’s actually coming out during the summer. So, that should tell you it’s a little bit different. This is Eclipse and it has the big three. It has Taylor Lautner and Kristen and Robert Pattinson back again. But it’s kind of got more of an action, the component this. Right, it puts the werewolves versus the vampires. So, I think it’s going to play more to the guys than you might expect and it’s going to be for the girls as always. But it’s going to more action than you would expect. Rhiannon Ally: You hear that? It’s going to be a good date night movie. Josh Horowitz: There you go. Rhiannon Ally: I’m trying to speak to my husband right now. Okay, so Toy Story. I’ve already seen the Barbies and all the stuff out in the stores. This is a huge one. Josh Horowitz: Toy Story 3, can you believe it’s been 11 years since the last Toy Story movie? Rhiannon Ally: No. Josh Horowitz: Yeah, so all the usuals are back, you know Buzz and Woody. Ken is now voiced by Michael Keaton, so they’ve got some new wrinkles to it. Andy the kid is grown up, he’s going off to college. It’s the first of the Toy Story movie that was shot in 3D. So, it’s going to be pretty dynamic, pretty exciting. Rhiannon Ally: Wow! That’s going to be amazing in 3D. Wow! Okay now, the last movie. I’ve haven’t actually seen any previous for and haven’t heard off. I’m sorry to say but I love Michael Cera. Josh Horowitz: Yeah, yeah. So, this is called Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. This is kind of my sleeper pick for the summer because I’ve talked to some people that have seen this and everybody that seen it has been blown away. It’s based on a graphic novel but don’t think like Batman or Superman. It’s not that kind of comic book thing. It’s more of a romantic comedy meets action movie. So, it’s a really big young ensemble led by Michael Cera. It’s got Anna Kendrick that got that Oscar nomination right for Up in the Air. A lot of action, it’s like you’re going to see Michael Cera doing like martial arts. Have a sword but also be funny. So, it’s going to be really interesting I think. Rhiannon Ally: Okay, so quickly, which one are you looking forward to the most this summer? Josh Horowitz: At the end of the day, Inception. You can't go wrong coming off with the dark night. I mean the visuals in this look insane. I can't wait to see that one. Rhiannon Ally: All right, thank you so much Josh.
