A group of five mothers have completed a U.S. cross-country road trip in which they blogged about their experiences. Driving a hybrid Tahoe, the moms chronicled their experiences.
5 Moms Cross the US in a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid Mike Morris: As these five moms will tell you, there is nothing better than well, of being of mom. But here’s a good second place how about a cross country adventure with a bunch of other moms, no kids, no car seats. That’s exactly what these moms did. Sarah Braeson: We started in DC, drove to Chicago, Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City, Reno and then to San Francisco. Jill Asher: The parents are just very cheerful. They want to document of journey across country of five moms. One thing after another and I’m just sharing our experiences of driving hot at the top of hybrid across country. Mike Morris: During their trip, they blog about what was going on. And told where they were and what they were doing. The part of the adventure was what they were driving to do. Not just a Tahoe but a hybrid Tahoe. Meagan Francis: I was expecting a hybrid vehicle to be kind of a wimpy feeling and to not really drive like a regular vehicle. And this was anything but I would never have known if they didn’t say hybrid on the side. Mom: I’ve got the only difference, so you can’t even tell as a driver and we are passenger. We said that, I don’t fight her. Mike Morris: Their trip took them from our nation’s capital, to the city by the bay covering nearly three thousand miles. And it means the day is of high price gasoline. These moms were glad for hybrid technology every time they pulled into a gas station. Meagan Francis: For what I understand, we got something like between twenty-two and twenty-five miles per gallon on the highway which is a lot better than my minivan. Devra Renner: Every time we pump into a gas station, there was somebody who was looking at our car. Mike Morris: Then more being a mom is one of the most rewarding job there is, seeing this great country. With other moms well, it’s sounds like the trip of a lifetime. Devra Renner: We just laugh our whole way literally across the country. Mom: Great! Devra Renner: I thought it was so much fun. Mike Morris: To read more about there trip, visit MomRoadTrip.com.
