2010 Summer Trends From H&M Ann Sofie-Johansson: A little bit of romanticism we’ll take this expression from the garden so we’ll see a lot of flower prints and also from gardening so you see more garments with utility style to them. Veronica: Hi, I'm Veronica at Watchmojo.com and today we’re taking at the ladies styles and trends from Swedish fashion house H&M. Gianluca Longo: Flower print is first of all is one of my favorite prints from Spring- Summer. It gives the happiness, positivity. It’s a very easy way to mix with the neutrals and gives positivity. It gives happiness to everyone. Caroline: I think it will be a fun season, a lot of colors which is great. The major statement was a print and then super colorful, flowers all over flower prints, there was graphical prints. There were a lot of ethnical prints too, so to me the major statement this season was the prints. Ann Sofie-Johansson: I think it’s very optimistic and positive feeling about this coming spring and summer. The ethnic inferences continue but it’s much more of really a bit of luxury and look. You pick from all over the world and you mix it together and become quite luxurious. Caroline: It is about glamour but not the old fashioned glamour like in the 40s or something. It’s more like glamour, 80s glamour. It’s all about being I think the whole summer is all about sexiness. Ann Sofie-Johansson: The colors, color white of this season. Neutrals, a lot of white and light beige and gray tones and the blues, you’ll see lot of range of blue colors. And then to get away some flower inspired colors, you can see like the yellows and the apricot colors and the pinks. And then towards the high summer some fluorescent colors as well. Gianluca Longo: Also from the catwalk, we’ve seen a lot of pale colors. A lot of soft color you know like maybe a toll or a canvass, the color of kaki color very much like a neutral tones that you can play around because it’s very easy to mix with the bright, proper colors. Caroline: The color palette is either blue, yellow, orange like super 80s, very, very strong but there’s also one side which is very, very pastel like very light, very cute so there are too extreme someone say. Ann Sofie-Johansson: There’s quite lot of different pieces you need. I think you’ll need Stilo dress, the dress is still going to be around so I think you’ll need a drippy, sexy dress and you also need more of a tunic style dress. It’s still relaxed to look. You dress in layers with really thin airy materials to have, like a really thin, naked cardigan and a constructive blazer on top of that, and then your shin is to go. Gianluca Longo: I supposed the only big trends that we have from the last season is the big shoulder. Big shoulder and shoulder pads one, two, three as many as you can put underneath your jackets that’s the biggest thing that we continue for winter collection, yes.
