2010 Rolls Royce Ghost Review Male: Cars.com auto review. Kelsey: Hi I’m Kelsey Mays for Cars.com. We’re at the L.A. auto show checking out Rolls Royce’s new Ghost. This is the smallest, least expensive Rolls Royce so far. It was first shown earlier on this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We’re going to take you through what’s new about it and why you want it but because it’s a Rolls Royce, you probably can’t have it. The car is still huge. It’s about 213 inches long. That’s mini van territory and it weighs about a thousand pounds more than a Mercedes Benz S600 sedan but the car’s V12 engine gets from 0 to 60 in under five seconds a corner old Royce. That’s really fast. Rolls Royce says the leather in this car came from Bolster, Rome and feels free of barb wire. It’s interesting. You can tell if there are a few BMW fingerprints here, BMW owns Rolls Royce. There’s a nub here in the center with a shortcut button. It looks a lot like BMW’s Eye Drive but overall the fingerprints are pretty scamp. This is definitely a different sort of beast. It’s an utterly stunning car but Rolls Royce says it will cost you about $250,000 and up from there you have options. Well, think about this way. This week’s parable, $69 million, so even after taxes, you could probably still buy a 150 or maybe a 160 of this. I might go buy a ticket. Male1: For more car-related news, go to Cars.com.
